This software is able to analyze server logs that point to some marketing questions.
Serlog is a server log analyzer. The logs are used to find answers to some crucial marketing questions. In a commerce situation, typically, you will have a network of affiliates and/or a set of ads. To be on top of the marketing situation, you need to know exactly which affiliates/ads are sending you traffic. How much of that traffic is converting to paying customers are some obvious questions. This will clearly tell you how effective your advertising is! The stats you get from the server data include hits, sessions, visitors, browsers, platforms, spiders, bandwidth, countries, entry/exit pages, errors, search engines, and more. Serlog allows you to limit the scope of the report to a subset of files, or even an individual file. If you needed it, the tool will generate a document containing a customizable set of reports.
You get to find out what keywords were used to find your page by the visitor. That probably is the most important data you want to mine from the logs. You know exactly what keywords should go into metatags on your pages. That helps out with one of the most important activities for you, optimizing of the page for better rankings on the search engines. You can derive a graphical summary of data in terms of graphs for days, weeks, or months. Day of Week and Hour of Day modes are also supported. If the log file format is not one of the available presets, and auto-detection is not possible, the user may manually configure the format. You are able to, thus, analyze a wide range of uncommon formats. Large display area and tabbed controls on the interface make things simple, but do take your time to familiarize yourself.
